Kelly’s interest in geography started at a young age. Growing up on a farm, she spent hours outside exploring the natural world. However, it wasn’t until she was in college that she realized she was destined to be a geographer.
Kelly studied Geography and Geographic Information Systems (GIS) with a focus on applied business geography, including location-allocation of resources. During her senior year, she was named as an Eagle Ambassador for the Geography Department at the University of North Texas and received the Geography Service Award for her work in medical geography.
Upon graduating, Kelly began her career as a GIS Analyst focusing on site selection and market optimization for retailers and restaurants, including FedEx, Bass Pro Shops, and many others. For the next decade, she held analyst and leadership roles in GIS at Verizon. In 2010, Kelly completed her M.B.A. in Business and Marketing from Centenary University which led her to a strategic marketing role at Verizon Wireless.
Over the past six years, Kelly has focused her work on creating the best customer experience possible, either in-stores or online. She has significant experience in marketing strategy, customer journey mapping, project management, in-store design, and process improvements from her time at Verizon and Sage Software.
Kelly was drawn to the Intalytics brand in 2017 because of the company’s excellent reputation within the field. She is delighted to be in an industry and role that combines both of her areas of interest and expertise. As the Director of Marketing, she brings authentic enthusiasm for the solutions provided by Intalytics, and a keen interest in seeing these solutions applied in a way that makes a positive impact on our clients.
After two decades of living in multiple states, Kelly and her husband, James, are settled in the Atlanta Metro area with their two kids, and their Jack Russell, Ziggy.
